What this service is

Shoalwatch republishes and joins facts from official registries and certification bodies, and reports changes to them as they appear. Every fact carries the source it came from and the date we retrieved it. Where those disagree with us, the source is correct.

What it is not

It is not legal, regulatory, credit or investment advice, and it is not a due-diligence certificate. The standing indicator is an indicator computed from the records shown beneath it; it is not a rating, and no regulator recognises it. A registry being silent about a company is not evidence about that company. Do not make a purchase, a shipment or a credit decision on this site alone; verify against the linked source.

Accuracy and corrections

We match records to companies automatically, and we show how each match was made. Matching can be wrong. If you believe a record has been attached to the wrong company, tell us through the correction form; we suspend the disputed link while we check it.

Using the data

Underlying records remain subject to the terms of whoever published them, which are listed per source on the sources page. Use the data for your own business purposes; do not resell bulk extracts of it, and do not use it to contact individuals.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and cancel at the end of the paid period from the billing portal on your account page. If a source we advertise stops being available, we will say so on the sources page.

Liability

The service is provided as it is, without warranty. To the extent the law permits, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
